Meet SUPERSTRINGS, the five headed crew reshaping the trance scene with a deep respect for the genre’s golden era while keeping their sound firmly rooted in the present. After starting out in leftfield house and techno more than a decade ago, the friends reignited their shared passion for peak era trance and quickly emerged as one of the scene’s most exciting acts. Dressed in their distinctive all-white outfits and guided by their SHOW YOUR EMOTIONS mantra (all caps included), they wholeheartedly embrace the emotional anthems and rave spirit of the late ’90s and early 2000s. While their aesthetic may appear tongue in cheek, their DJ sets tell a different story. SUPERSTRINGS have earned a reputation for reviving the essence of trance with care and purpose, transforming iconic classics and overlooked gems into something fresh, contemporary and unmistakably their own. Behind the decks, the five man collective blends a high energy take on trance with unexpected twists that set them apart from traditional trance DJs. Beyond their magnetic performances, SUPERSTRINGS have built a loyal following through sold-out stage hostings and large scale club events across the Netherlands. These laser fuelled, emotionally charged gatherings have helped rally a new generation around trance and consistently sell out. Although their journey into trance only began a few years ago, the impact has been undeniable. Following a mainstage closing set at A State of Trance for 20,000 dancers and appearances at leading Dutch festivals including Lowlands, DGTL and Soenda, SUPERSTRINGS have expanded onto the global stage with performances at EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Miami, Ushuaïa Ibiza, Dreamfields, Sziget and ASOT London. Off stage, the group’s studio output continues to gain momentum. Supported by Armin van Buuren and played by Tiësto and many others, their Armada Music catalogue includes original releases such as Neon Dusk Protocol: a modern trance record with the spirit of a 1999 classic and subtle garage influences, and the Ibiza inspired Balearic Temptation. Their remakes of timeless tracks honour the originals while introducing them to a new audience, including Signum’s What Ya Got 4 Me and, more recently, their Emotional Rollercoaster remix of Solarstone’s Solarcoaster. Together with Ben Gold, they released the acclaimed club track The Whip, while Remember, their collaboration with trance legend Ferry Corsten, became a breakout record that made a significant impact across the scene.
