30 years of David Lewis Productions, celebrated together at Amsterdam Dance Event

On Tuesday 20 October we celebrated 30 years of David Lewis Productions and Amsterdam Dance Event at Gashouder, together with more than 1,500 industry professionals who traveled in from around the world. It was also the first time Gashouder welcomed the industry back after its long renovation.

The deputy mayor of Amsterdam gave a speech, saying how proud the city is that it has kept ADE going together with the professionals behind it for 30 years. We raised a toast, shared a few laughs and loved seeing so many of our artists and industry friends come together under one big roof.

‍

Bar Oldenhof as our headquarters

From Wednesday to Friday, Bar Oldenhof was once again our headquarters for this year’s ADE. Between the meetings with agents and industry professionals, people kept stopping by to say hello and celebrate our 30th anniversary with us.

We were there not only to celebrate, but also to look back on the past year and plan ahead for the next, working out how we can build a great future together with our artists, managers and promoters. And of course, with a good cocktail in hand.

‍

More than 100 shows in one week

Alongside the celebrations, our artists were busy all week. More than 50 artists played over 100 shows throughout ADE and most of them sold out. It was a reminder of why we do this, building a roster and a community that show up for each other, on and off stage.

Thanks to every artist, promoter, partner and fan who made this week what it was and to everyone who raised a glass with us to 30 years of David Lewis Productions. In 2027, ADE returns from Wednesday 20 to Sunday 24 October, so mark your calendar and we will see you next year.
